Heres one F1Timer liked and disliked by many :)
Lee Holden is from Great Britain and he must be holding joint record in leaving and returning back to this game. He talks more than racing. :) But anyways, he s a wonderful character who would bring a smile to everyone.

More GMail Invites

Jus when i sent out all mine, another set came in.
Now i have trouble in finding out someone to send this invite to.
If someone needs one, put a comment here.

Race 12 - Portugal - Estoril

After the Podium finish in Netherlands, the 'We Drive on Heineken' Team went into the Portugese GP with full of enthusiasm and confidence. But as usual the economy was preventing us from doing anything brilliant. We had Unrepaired Cars which came in at 11th and 17th positions. Results wise it was not so good but it gave the team some money to prepare for the next races.

The Title fight in c1 is becoming more close than ever. Kostya, seemingly with a favourite track won the race though he was not on Pole. RCdaDood went for money and risk which gave him the 1M pole but not the Big Points. He suffered heavy traffic after his first round of pitstops which ruled out his chance of finishing ahead of his rival Vlad. Vlad came 2nd holding off another (possible) favourite track Jonny behind him. RC finished 4th. Woodi was running for the Podium and even held back Vlad for some laps to RC's relief. But he had an Engine Explosion which saw him finish in 25th position. Eld was not running fully repaired and he finished a disappointing 20th position.
The Current Standings look like this
1. R.Coutinho* 69
2. V.Islentiev*** 61
3. J.Sjöblom* 58
4. K.Sedov** 54
As we see, all are STAR'd managers who can pull out some surprises.

C2G1 was won by Arus followed by Vaidas. S Timoshenko continued his good run with a Podium Spot. DC leader Osterloh could manage only a 5th position. The Group once again saw some able managers not racing (thus helping my cause in terms of money )

Mixed Fortunes for the Team

Race11 saw 'We Drive on Heineken' finishing on Podium for the first time this season. JTix had a near perfect day which was supported by some luck too. I had a pretty bad day in the sense i had once made mistakes which i shdnt have done. I went in for 3 Stop Meds which even a newbie wouldnt have tried. Anyway i take it as another lesson.. but the problem is i never learn from it :D :)).

C1 was won by Felipe obviously due to his Drivers Fav Track and RC finishing almost half a minute back on him. But this race also saw his opponents not finishing in points and so he had once again improved his lead with another 8 points.

C2G1 shd have been won by Vaidas which was stopped by an Engine Failure. That inturn gave us our First Podium and usual suspects won the race without any major challenges.

Race 11 - Netherlands - Zandwoort - Preview

With the economy just coming back to normal, its time to race again. But the lose of money for the 6 races costed the team a lot in terms of design as well as the team's staff strength. That was visible in the Practice and WU when the team was more than a second off the ultimate pace set by Osterloh. Also because of the health conditions i had at this point(I was down with Fever for the last 3 days), i was not able to spend more time in the Internet.
By the way, forgot to mention that our team name has been changed with my teammies suggestion to 'We Drive on Heineken'. Teammie seems to be enjoying his Heineken all the time and we are looking forward for a change in luck with the new name. JTix has upgraded his design and that can been seen in his timings. He got a good setup i guess. Looking forward for some points from him for the team.

C1 had Eld at the top of WU timings. Now with Vlad winning some races, the Top3 are really close now and any1 can go for the title now. Vlad mite backout because of his continuing CD problems. He got one but will that 85% suffice his requirements is another question. C1 also saw another surprise Top Runner in the WU in Felipe Miranda. This time he looks good for atleast a Podium Finish.
C2G1 had Vaidas and Asterloh at the Top with Arus behind. The only reason for joy is that JTix is also up there with them.

Back After a Break

I donno whether i can call this a break or not. The Break was from Active F1Time-ing due to the work constraints. I didnt miss any race but everything was in a hurry and that cost me some problems as well. The Team was without a Sponsor for 6 races and that costed the team around 12M atleast and that money has big value in the F1Time scenario.
The Past 4 Races havent been happy campaigning for the team as the team could manage only 2 points in those. Teammie is back into some points but Bad Luck was with him. The Team changed their Test Driver for the third week in succession and none of them excelled to say the least.
C1 was shaping for a nice competition i would say. RC is still leading but Eld and Vlad are closing the gap. Vlad had 3 wins in a row but he too was having some CD issues which he sorted out finally but not in a great way. He lost around 20M worth of money but still he cud hold on with his balance. The Only pbm for him wud be the new CD which is just 85%. If he can deliver Vlad with some good Sponsors, then we mite see a good fite in C1. Among the three, i presume the fite wud be between Vlad and RC and mebbe Eld mite have to settle for 3rd. Vitor as usual had loads of money and had a good start but now backing off. Woodi continues to impress everyone and his win at Monza was a bit lucky i wud say coz of the RC Drop. I still dont know what happened to Kostya. He seem to be lacking motivation as he s still not fighting for his 3rd *.
C2G1 see good racing from Osterloh who s giving a tough fite to Vaidas and Arus. Vaidas has a slight advantage over Osterloh but that can change in a race or two. Arus seems to be settling for third, but who knows...
With the weekend i see my workload coming down and mebbe i can jot down more frequently after that..

Race 5 - France - Magny Cours - Pre Race Analysis

After a strong outing in Canada, the team was full of confidence, but short
of cash :(. Practice and WU times show that we were in the Top10 but way
off the pace. We are hoping for anything but spectacular results. The team
continued its testing session with a new test driver. Previous driver
F Montagny doesnt seem to have yielded good results with testing for the
team and so he was replaced by K Thompson.

C1 WU had Eld at the Top followed by RC and Vlad. Vlad finally seems to
have picked up the pace. His driving training is appreciable. Within a race
he has made good progress with his condition and that sure must be showing
in the races. The pace can also be attributed to his sheer Engine Design
and the Best Design results puts him on the Top of the Pack.

C2G1 saw good laps from K Miller Pace and Bielskis. D Nikitin is also
warming up and the NavArus team is behind within a tenth of the second.
'Partners in Crime' seemed to be off the pace and puts them in the double
digit positions. Not much expected from this race.

Strong Result for the Team - Race4 Analysis

'Partners in Crime' team had a Big Surprising result awaiting them in
Montreol, Canada. Both managed to score points and that too 5 valuable
points that could be decisive in the Final Team Standings. The result
would have been better if i didnt block my teammie. He must be pretty
disappointed with that, but a kit of 5 is better than an accident.
I am still wondering as to how i managed to keep him off in the Hard
Overtaking track.

C1 result was almost the same as last time. RC followed by Eld. But the real
winner was Sow who had an Engine Explosion. His bitter disappointment was
justified as he dropped just 5 laps to the end and that too while leading
the race. This race also showed the revival of the Russians. Vlad and Kostya
finished side by side in points.

C2G1 was won by Arus. He had a terrific qualifying lap which saw a huge gap
of more than .6 secs with the 2nd placed driver. Surprisingly the NavArus
team was in different strategies and both scoring points justified their
tactics.

Race 4 - Canada - Montreal - Pre Race Analysis

Heres another race where our team is gonna struggle. Not because of the
weather and tyres but because of economy and engine design. The Team lost
its Commercial Director and its gonna show immediately in this race.
Though it cost some amount, the team is gonna full strength to get whatever
is available.

C1 WU had Eld at the Top followed by RC and Vitor. Sow and Vlad was behind
them. At the time of writing this, Kostya was yet to WU and so donno what
his strategy wud be. But i infer that he s also gonna Full Speed this race.
Vlad seems to have a real good setup which showed in the WU times though
he had the second worst driver in C1. The Title race is gonna start now

C2G1 WU was leading,at the point of this article, by Arus and Vaidas was
a couple of places down on him. Andre is continuing his good form. Teammie
JTix also spent a considerable amount to stay in the Top6. Hope that he bags
some point for our team.

Nothing Much to Cheer about - Race3 Analysis

Started in Midrow side by side and Finished almost in the same positions.
Thats the Summary of the Hungarian GP. Team is struggling with the lack
of Power of Renualt Engines. All that the Mechanics managed was a
repaired car as the management was out of cash to provide Narain with a
new car. 15th position was an OK result and the team is not so worried
about the result. Race3 result was not that bad for the team, but
considering that there is a shortage of Team Staff, its hard to make
progress in the season. The Teams Commercial Director went off due to his
Personal Reasons and the team was not successful in finding a replacement.

C1 result was unexpected as RC was beaten by Vitor. Kostya seemed to be a
favourite but he could not get that elite spot. The Fact that RC managed a
Podium and Eld was out of Points made RC the Clear Leader in DC standings.
Woodi continues his good run and mite be the Surprise Package this time.

C2G1 was won by Tej Almeida on Pitstops followed by the NavArus Team. The
NavArus team were on a different strategies for the 2 drivers, but both
cud finish side by side.

The Only Positive thing from Race3 was the TV Broadcasting was back and everyone
was happy with that. The F1Time GM was getting married the next day(that was
a late news) and everyone thought the Broadcast wud be affected. But great
thanks and appreciation goes to TaBu for doing us all a Favour inspite of his
hectic works.. Kudos and Congrats dude!

Race 3 - Hungary - Spa - Pre Race Analysis

This race is not the best suitable track for our team. Our Renualt engines
were struggling to find the pace, although we had a nice setup. The fact
that the track was wet mite have caused additional worries. There is nothing
much to cheer abt the Practice and WU and we both were placed in the middle
of the pack. The Testing session for the team continued and Test Driver
F Montagny was doing a very good job. The Engines are ready for an upgrade
which we expect to happen from Race4. Another Normal show from the team.

C1 Practice as always is sandbagged and nothing much can be inferred from it.
WU showed Kostya leading over Vitor Ribero and RC|daDood. Eld seems to have
backed off and RC is sure to take a Clear DC Lead after this race. 'Brothers on
Track' seems to struggle again. The much talented duo are somehow off the pace
and i am sure that they will bounce back soon. 3 Star Vlad is lacking a good
driver and he is at the bottom of the list.

C2G1 saw another Non-Racer coming back to top the Charts. A Bielskis is having
a good run and after spending enormous amounts, Tej Almeida is also in pace.
NavArus Team is slightly backing off i guess. I am not sure about that since
they are with the same Engine as mine.

Good Result at Bahrain - Race2 Analysis

Race2 was better for 'Partners in Crime' when compared to the previous race.
I was able to score my first point and hope that this is not the only one
for the season. Teammie JTix was saving a bit and was down in the Finishing
Order. The Happy news was that both the cars finished putting aside the
reliability concerns which came up after the First Race. The Team's economy
isnt the best one and so still working on improvement. Team Designer is
planning for some improvements but it wont be much visible at this point of time.

C1 result was a close one with RC|daDood winning over Eld by a margin
of a second. Eld was leading the race for most part of the race but
RC managed to scrape through. This victory is important for me as well
as he s my Top Bet on Max Top10. Woodi continued his good run of the
season with another strong finish.

C2G1 was taken aback by Camilio. He was late n his orders for the first race
and so missed it. The comeback was superb which resulted in the win.
Osterloh followed him in the podium.

But again the TV Partner for the site F1Time Television had problems telecasting
the Race and the Qualification Live. We all were glued to the screen but the
only thing we could see was Blank Screens with Advertisements in between. Hope
the authorities take care of this situation at the earliest, otherwise we mite
see a fallout in this Popular Games Audience.

Race 2 - Bahrain - Sakhir - Pre Race Analysis

After a disappointing finish at Austria, the Team 'Partners in Crime'
landed in Bahrain with not so high spirits. Add to that the hot temperatures
in Bahrain. From the Winter in Austria where it touched 10 Degrees and
below, we were awaited temperatures of 45+ Degrees. Note that all are in
Celsius scale. Its as if we were put into a Hot Furnace. This Temperature
didnt help our race strategy as well. Our tyre partners are known for
their strength in temperature of Middle 20s. The Only advantage was that due
to the premature race end in Austria, our Mechanics had an easy task of
repairing the Car. Mebbe because others were saving, I had a promising
Top10 finish in the Practice and WU. Teammie JTix was a couple of positions
down as he too was preparing for the Mid Season Battles. The Testing Sessions
continued and the test Driver F Montagny is doing a pretty good job. The Team
Management is still keeping him instead of numerous offers for him for the
elite Drive..

C1 WU was dominated by RC who was closely followed by Eld. The race needs to
be a closely watched one, but I am not sure whether the First Race Live Telecase
Failure would surface again this time.

C2G1 saw Camilio coming back to race after missing the First Race. He looks strong
but the Podium finish of Osterloh would make Camilios job tougher.

Disappointment to start with - Race1 Analysis

The Much awaited Season starter in Austria was an utter disappointment to our team. Teammate JTix did a pretty good job, but he couldnt finish in the Points. For me, my 97% reliable Renualt disappointed. An Engine Explosion on Lap18 ended my little hopes.I ended up in 24th posn and i was the lone DNF in the group. Since our group is just 28 in number and 4 others didnt race helped my cause. I was able to get that extra little money. :). It seems like TaBu made some changes with the PitCrew timings and it was evident in the Pit Timings in c1 group. Since my driver DNF d before he could do a pitstop didnt serve my purpose as well.
The Results in the Higher Groups were as expected. Eld took his first win of the season closely followed by RC. Woodi also looked good in this Aodi and he took the remaining Podium spot. These 3 along with Kostya and Vitor mite be the potential Championship racers this time. In our group, Vaidas took the win followed by Osterloh. Though Osterloh had BML, Vaidas was able to beat him with his underperforming Renualt. His teammie Arus was out of the podium but still scored 4 valuable points.
As this is just the start of the season, i take this drop in the lighter note and hope that my Engine Supplier does a better job from now on. Also the daunting task of Team Naming lies ahead as this is the First time an Indo-Dutch Team is formed.

Race1 - Austria - Pre Race Analysis

The Season Opener is in Austria in the Cold Winter climate. The
Temperature doesnt seem to suit our Tyres but we had an Ok
Showing in the Practice and WU. Since we are with Renualt, we
dont expect ourselves to be competitive at the Start of the
Season. So the 15th i had was pretty decent in my opinion. The
Pit Crew arent the Best of the Lot. They need a lot of training
which I think can be done as the Season Progresses. A 15th would
be a realistic target but i am not too happy with my Pitcrew.
For the Group analysis, Andre Osterloh had a terrific WU session
which put him on top of the Timesheets. NavArus Team's engine
choice surprised me and that caused them to be behind the 2nd row.

C1 WU analysis saw Vitor Ribero back to the Front Row after a
couple of Bad Seasons. Eld and RC are rite behind them and I expect
an RC win. 3 Times Champ Vlad is way back because of the Driver
Factor while Kostya did a mistake with his Engine but had it
Replaced rite before the Season Start. Paddock Rumors suggest the
reuniting of The Malaysian Brothers. Sow had a long term teammie
in Lex, but that maynot be continuing any longer. Sow ,rightfully,
was not happy with Lex giving away his Win last season and that
mite be the reason of the Split. They are placed 8th and 11th
respecively in the WU. After some seasons, we might see some Good
Racing in c1.

Good Luck everyone.

Partner Found

After a days search,i found a partner in c2g1. The Name cant be
disclosed now. It would be announced (or better seen )after the
First Race Office Close. What i can say is that he is experienced
and talented and i am thankful for him to select me. Now we need
to work together for Engine Development and Race Strategies. Its
good to see that both of us are having the same package. Now that
would make our preparations easier.
In the meantime, its getting restless to wait for the First
Race of the Season.
