F1Time - S19 - Race1 - Istanbul, Turkey

The start of the new season and everyone was waiting to see how they
perform in the first race. The First Race of every season was a
disaster in terms of live telecast or due to the game engine problems.
Fortunately this time we had the Qual going smoothly, but the race
went into trouble cause of something new which TaBu added new to the
site. The Result.. the race was calculated twice and the results
changed a lot. Some gained while some like me lost out.

In C1, the WU was dominated by the Malaysian Brothers with Yih coming
ahead of Sow. Arus and Vaidas who came into c1 this season with a
nice and heavy balance were also at the Top. Add to them the usual
suspects Eld and RC. The 'UnderPerformer' Vitor Ribero was also there
at the top as usual for the opening race. So all in all, the race
was going to be a thriller. In the unofficial race which was later
rerun, RC went for the Pole but that strategy came out to be the
wrong one. Arus 'won' the race followed by Eld and Vitor in the
Podium. But on rerun, Both Arus and Eld lost out. Sow, who had
finished 5th first came out to be winner. He was joined by Vitor and
Arus. Yih's 4th place gave the Malaysian Brothers a good start to the
TC. Eld could manage only a 5th this time. RC and Vaidas who are there
in my Max Top10 had a disappointing outing. They could manage only
26th and 27th as they could not finish the race.

C2G1 WU was dominated by a new team featuring Nezam Ghalebi and
Stephen Mawson. The pole was taken by Nezam who had one of the best
designs and the best car in the group. The Duo from England ran away
from the Pack in the race as well and gave the team the perfect start
to the season. Luis Rocha took the remaining Podium Spot. Our group
also had victims of this rerun and most prominent was edi (Andreas
Buettner). edi came 2nd in the first race which Stephen winning the
race comfortably. But he DNF d in the second race, which was
disappointing. The Gainers for the race absolutely enjoyed the rerun
with Podium finishes. Both Nezam and Luis DNF d in the first run.

The Race was a disappointment for our team as well. Thomas came in
12th posn while i had a disappointing 17th posn though i had the
12th best time in WU. I dont have any thing to blame upon other than
my Fuel settings. I didnt go for the 103% fuel and the Spins in
Lap11 and Lap50 made me make a unscheduled pitstop with just one lap
to go. And that put me down to 17th posn from 11th. In the First run,
Thomas had 9th posn while i followed him with a 11th place. Well..
its mistakes all the time and i dont think i am concentrating that
well on the game now.. Its time to get my act together..
